About the Project
One challenge facing researchers is that it is difficult to quickly find relevant peer reviewed literature,
since there is just so much published work on any given topic. To build a dataset of relevant and high quality
reference material on agroforestry, the researchers at The Nature Conservancy spend years manually reading
through thousands of papers.
The Code the Change team is creating the solution to this issue by building an algorithm that uses the title
and abstract of the article to quickly predict the relevancy of a given paper.
Additionally, the team is working on a Retrieval Augmented Generation language model that will be answer questions
specialized to the field of agroforestry!
