Who We Are

About Us

We are the Code the Change Chapter at Harvey Mudd College, a STEM-focused liberal arts college located in Claremont, California. We are a student club looking to partner with non-profits to provide free technological solutions. Our projects are led and built by Harvey Mudd students. Through these projects, non-profits can receive some extra support and students can gain valuable real-world experience.

Current Projects

MIT Jameel Clinic & Boston Museum of Science

With MIT students, we're creating a capture-the-flag challenge game for the Boston Museum of Science to encourage museum-goers to learn about clinical AI and drug discovery.

United Nation Refugee Agency

Our first project with UNHCR is developing a machine learning tool to help the United Nations analyze geographical data about refugee camps.

Our second project is building a web app to help researchers visualize and connect data from two separate datasets.

Nature Conservancy

For the Natural Conservancy, we're working to transfer research papers in a machine-readable format. We're also building a relevance prediction algorithm and a large language model for agroforestry research papers.
